2-Day Trekking at Bidoup National Park

Bidoup National Park is one of the largest national parks in Viet Nam. With its bio-diversity and abundant natural resources, the park has become a ideal habitat for many rare and endangered species of animals and birds such as: deer, boar, rabbit, peacock, wild pigs, gibbons, etc... especially a 1,300 year old monster ( very old trees). In order to discover the park, we have put together a 2-day trek back to nature program.

Day 1: We will pick you up at your hotel in Dalat at 8:00 am, transfer by car about 35 km up towards the Northeast to Da Chay village. Start our challenging hike through hilly pine forest by crossing the trails that are made by local people. Having a picnic lunch on the top of the mountain, you can spy the fantastic view of rushing river under the beautiful valley and enjoy fresh air. After lunch, you will follow trails down the hill to our campsite. Overnight in the camping tent with the high of 2080 m compared to sea level. The first day offers 5 hours of moderate walk.

Day 2: After breakfast, start the long trek of 15 km to Long Lanh ranger station. The trek begins in a pine forest and heads up into a green jungle. The trail to the summit of the mountain (2287m) is steep and is well worth the climb when you reach the highest peak and experience the breathtaking view of the surrounding hills and villages. Having lunch on the top of the mountain, then trekking down the steep hills to visit a very big Bo Mu tree, over 1300 years old. In the afternoon, Trekking downhill through pine forests, coffee plantations, then across the Da Nhim river to Long Lanh village. Car pick up and transfer back to Dalat 3 pm. End the trip.
